Flight Training Programs

Halterman Aviation LLC has a Kitfox SLSA available for training and rental purposes.  The mission of Halterman Aviation is primarily (but not limited to) Kitfox-specific and Tailwheel training.  Only a Kitfox SLSA tailwheel aircraft is available through Halterman Aviation LLC for rental.  The Kitfox is an excellent platform to receive your Private Pilot or Sport Pilot Certificates (inquire to learn more).  However other services may be available in company aircraft or your aircraft as appropriate.  See listing below.

Instruction rates (ground and flight):

• Kitfox-specific and/or tailwheel training:  $95/hr
• All other training: $80/hr
• Training outside the North Texas (Texoma) Area is possible--please inquire for availability

Need your Kitfox or other aircraft ferried?

• Ferrying services available--please inquire

All rates can be sales tax exempt with exemption certificate (available at start of training), cash/check price

• 3% convenience fee for credit/debit cards
